Muffin and I had a long talk. I marveled at how much she has grown. In return, she listened and said quietly: “If you are honest, you’re not ready for a relationship right now.”

I’m not.

“But none of us will date you.”

And that was it.

Perhaps all this is right, everything is where it should be. I’m just meant to be on my own for now. I’m a little tired maybe. I have changed. For the better? I can only hope so. I just have to get my life sorted.
