2011

2010 was full of firsts so it was only appropriate that Dec 31st was my first New Year’s Eve out without the parentals. Surprise, surprise: I don’t party much. I spent the last seconds of 2010 on the second floor of RedDot, watching the fireworks over Marina Bay. It was the closest I’ve ever been to the fireworks display. We had a great angle from Boat Quay which was a nice surprise.

It was pretty amazing.

So there I was with my best friends from highschool. I didn’t think we’d have our 5th year reunion but here were are stuffing ourselves with Milo Dinosaur and prata from Al-Ameen, Left4Dead, DOTA, billiard, feasts upon feasts of chicken rice, seafood, Max Brenner’s and much random fun, talking about the universe.

It was a really good end to 2010.

How did I begin 2011? Trawling the city at 3am for an hour looking for a cab, taking random nightrider buses to somewhere, calling ambulances, getting phone calls from the police and then finally beginning the day traipsing around the canopy walk at HortPark during a thunderstorm and risking being fried to the metal bars.

Pretty badass, yes?
